of opportunities for
growth and service.

Presbyterian
Women's Circles -
These small groups meet
monthly or occasionally to
contemplate scripture, pray for one
another, and support mission
projects. The Hazel Circle meets the
first Sunday of the month and
includes working women. Circle One
meets the first Tuesday of every
month and includes women over age
sixty. |
|
We have
Sunday School for
all ages starting at
11:45 a.m., including an
adult class which
reflects on scripture
readings and issues of
our day.
|
|
A new small
group is forming, called
Just Faith. It is
a more intense group
which will focus on
nurturing one another to
become agents of God's
compassion and healing
in a wounded world.
Disciplines will include
self-reflection, study,
prayer and community
building.

Calvary is also
supportive of and
engaged in community
outreach activities:
- Eagle's Wings - a
tutoring program for
children of Mount
Eagle Elementary

- P.A.S.S.P.O.R.T -
an ESL program for
immigrants in the
area.

- CROP WALK - a
hunger awareness
program and fundraiser
for the work of Church
World Service

homeless and the
